What was the inspiration behind "Better Days"?
The inspiration behind it was this girl that I was talking to for like I don’t even know how long. It only lasted like a week (laughs) which is the sad part. The song "Better Days" is literally about un-catchy feelings. She is not worry[ing] about me, but I am worry[ing] about her. She doesn’t talk to me, she doesn’t communicate, doesn’t know anything and I’m hoping for better treatment. A better love compared to the past loves that I’ve had.
Did you work with anyone else on this project?
I did all of the mixing, mastering, recording and everything by myself in my room.
What would you like your listeners to get out of this single?
I would like for them to get the fact that you do not always have to have a relationship to get love. You can love yourself in the very end. If you are not getting good treatment, what is the point of staying around?
What else can we expect from you in 2021?
I hope to release a project called “Misery + Company.” I hope to get that finished by the end of the spring. If not, then by summertime. I want to also [work] on a trap project. I am working on multiple projects, I am working on "Misery + Company", which is a pop/punk project. I am working on another project that I don’t even have a name for it yet. I am collaborating with a producer that I really like. I may have some more singles roll out by the end of the year.
Is there anything else you would like to share with your listeners regarding "Better Days"?
I put my heart and soul into making this song because I was really feeling some type of way, but if anyone has ever gotten bad treatment in a relation, I know that they will like this song.
"Better Days" available on all major streaming platforms March 19th.
