When did you realize that you wanted to become a musician?
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was destined to be involved with music somehow as an adult because I loved to perform.
What was the first project you created as a professional artist?
Last May, I released my very first single called, “Nothing on the Earth”. It was a love song, which was a ballad to my fiance who changed my life in all of the best ways.
What has been the most challenging part about being a musician?
Getting my music out there has been challenging especially because of the pandemic. It’s much more difficult to connect with people virtually and find people in the sea of social media.
What has been the most rewarding part about being a musician?
The most rewarding part about being a musician is getting to create art that I am passionate about.
Who has been your inspiration?
My biggest inspiration to pursue music would be my fiance. In terms of other artists I’ve always admired, at the top of my list would be Stevie Nicks and Peggy Lee.
What is your favorite project you have released so far?
My first album that I released in January is my favorite because it represents all of my favorite songs and the message I want to get across as an artist.
What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out their music career?
No one is going to give you a golden invitation to get started in the music industry. You as the artist need to be a self-starter and not be afraid of what the future holds. It is important to put yourself out there as a musician and it’s never too late to make your dreams become a reality.
What do you have in store for your fans in 2021?
This year I plan on releasing an album, two more EPs, and at least three more singles.
