When did you realize that you wanted to be a musician?
I realized I wanted to be a musician since I was a child. I have always found music to be a great remedy for me not only times of feeling sadness but just in my everyday life. In 2005 when I was nearing the age of 12, Kanye West had released "Late Registration" and that album alone solidified my passion to turn my artistry into a career.
Can you talk about the first project you made as a professional musician?
The first project I released was back in 2012 titled "One The Air Vol. 1." I had released that mixtape during my first year in college, and had it uploaded to Datpiff.com and other streaming sites.

The most rewarding to me is being able to share my talent with others from various walks of life and having them enjoy my creations. Being able to inspire others is also very rewarding as well.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration in life is my mom honestly. She always believed in me and has always told me to reach my dreams and never quit. Overall she just wants to be happy and fulfilled.

What advice would you give to someone who is fighting to be a musician right now?
My advice would be for them to keep developing their craft, never listen to doubters who speak against their ambitions, and to definitely enjoy what they're doing. They must keep that spark for creating music alive within them.
What do you have in store for us this year?
This year I definitely plan on releasing new material and hopefully at least one music video. Now that I'm an artist under Adrisel, and my first time being a part of a label, my goal is to be where I strive to be with my talent.
Stay tuned for new KAHNEYDA music.
