"My friends bet me to audition for the Voice of Germany, and I ended up a quarter finalist on the 2017 season.”
Introducing Nordi Blu, an R&B/pop artist hailing from LA who is a strong, defiant artist unafraid to roll her sleeves all the way up and get it done. She started performing at the young age of 15. Her first instance of success was in college, where she won the University of Chicago’s Battle of the Bands all 4 years of study. This allowed her to open for some incredible artists, such as: Broken Social Scene, Crystal Castles, Damian Marley, Nas, The Dirty Projectors, Santigold, Voxtrot and Wale.
Nordi ended up quitting music due to little success and eventually landing a job in business in Berlin, Germany. “I was VERY unhappy without music in my life, and it was in Berlin Germany that my career really took off once I returned to music. My friends bet me to audition for the Voice of Germany, and I ended up a quarter finalist on the 2017 season.”
Nordi garnered much success through her time on the Voice of Germany. She has toured both Switzerland and Germany. However, once it came time to start releasing her original music, she was told there was no place for her in the German market.
Deciding to head back to LA, Nordi’s career in the US market began. She released her debut single “Skin” in August of 2019, which has garnered over 37k streams.
